EACR Conference - Cancer Metabolism
Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of tumours. Cancer and stromal cells alter their metabolic wiring in order to meet the energetic and anabolic demands, to cope with external insults, to survive in hostile environments and to alter the molecular properties of the niche they inhabit. In addition, the metabolism of the host influences the behavior of tumours. The EACR Conference on Cancer Metabolism will gather top experts in the field in Bilbao, Spain to discuss the metabolic alterations in tumours, the mechanisms through which metabolites regulate cell decisions and the metabolic interaction between the tumour and the host.

ELRIG’s French Forum:Single cell and spatial biology
Single-cell technologies integrated with spatial biology are transforming drug discovery and our understanding of human biology by revealing how cellular diversity, state, and microenvironment drive health and disease. Together, these approaches enable precise target identification and validation by linking molecular mechanisms to specific cell contexts. They expose the cellular ecosystems underlying complex diseases, uncover drivers of resistance and adverse events, and guide design of modality-appropriate interventions that act on the right cells in the right locations. Integration of single-cell and spatial readouts will yield actionable, mechanistic maps of human tissues, accelerating translation from target discovery to clinical impact. This forum will explore the recent advances that are driving this explosion in understanding whilst showcasing the impact it is having.
