9th Edition Computational Systems Biology of Cancer : Generative artificial intelligence and network modelling for cancer diagnosis and treatment
The diversity across tumours from different patients and even across cancer cells from the same patient tremendously complicates the development of treatments. ‘Personalized’ or ‘precision’ medicine aims to overcome this problem by finding a tailored treatment regimen for each patient according to the individual genetic background and tumour molecular profile. This ambitious goal requires proper molecular characterization of patient cancer using high-throughput technologies and advanced imaging technologies. Although cancer multi-scale data are becoming available, these still need to be fully exploited to elucidate the underlying mechanisms and thereby inform patient stratification and treatment. Since multiple views for the same patients can provide complementary information, multimodal integrative analysis of omics and clinical data has great potential to elucidate the molecular underpinning of cancer types. Multimodal integration of disease data holds great promise in uncovering intricate relationships among molecular mechanisms collectively contributing to the disease. Keynote speaker: Fatima AL-SHAHROUR (CNIO; Spain)

19th Tumour targeting, Imaging, Radiotherapies workshop
The "Tumour Targeting, Imaging, Radiotherapies" network of the Cancéropôle Grand-Ouest is pleased to announce its nineteenth international workshop. The main objective of this international workshop is to confront the points of view and issues of various research fields such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Medicine, Computer science, involved in the development of molecular and external beam radiotherapies in Oncology. The 2026 edition will highlight two key areas of development in tumour targeting, imaging and radiotherapies, Theranostics and Digital twins, which offer numerous opportunities for innovation. Other cutting-edge research areas will also be covered, including the development of antibody-drug conjugates, alpha radiation dosimetry and the side effects of radiation. Presentations of biologists, chemists, physicists, computer scientists and physicians will cover advances in this field of cancer research. This workshop promotes scientific exchange between established researchers and early-career researchers, particularly PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, and offers the latter valuable opportunities to present their work.
