Teniendo en cuenta que un paciente oncológico tiene una realidad vital atravesada por múltiples factores que rompen su sentimiento de salud, nuestras acciones están orientadas a mejorar la prevención, detección temprana, tratamientos basados en evidencia, estandarizar la calidad de la atención en todo el país, la accesibilidad y la investigación. De esta forma, contamos con un Congreso Nacional de Prevención anual cuyo objetivo es poner un nuevo enfoque en las líneas educativas para jóvenes profesionales. En materia de prevención interactuamos con Defensoría Nacional y Periodismo. Contamos con la Guía de Tratamiento del Cáncer para oncólogos y un Programa de Consenso para estandarizar el diagnóstico de pacientes con otras sociedades involucradas en su atención. También realizamos un Curso Educativo para todos los becarios de oncología argentinos y un programa de recertificación, asociado al programa de educación continua. Organizamos un Congreso Nacional para evaluar la calidad y relevancia de la evidencia clínica a realizarse en noviembre de este año, y un Congreso Nacional Educativo, a realizarse en octubre de 2021 en Buenos Aires. También estamos involucrados en un Curso Nacional de Oncología Molecular e Inmuno Oncología con un Consejo Nacional Molecular y un Registro Nacional de Ensayos Clínicos denominado MICA, y varias líneas de investigación para jóvenes investigadores. También producimos nuestra propia publicación: «ONCOLOGÍA CLÍNICA», que refleja la actividad investigadora en nuestro País, combinada con un Encuentro de Investigación anual."

The Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy (ABHH) was born from the merger of the Brazilian Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy (SBHH) and the Brazilian College of Hematology (CBH). Today, the institution has more than 5 thousand members, after being the first combination of associations in the country. ABHH's mission is to represent the community of professionals in the area of hematology, hemotherapy, and cell therapy.
