SUMMARY:1st European Ovarian Cancer Research Symposium 2026 (OC-Insights)
DESCRIPTION:It is a great pleasure for the University of Bergen's Centre for Cancer Biomarkers (CCBIO) to invite you to the 1st European Ovarian Cancer Research Symposium (OC-INSIGHTS).\n\nThis year's title is "Improving ovarian cancer outcomes: harnessing tumor-host interactions".\n\nThe 1st OC-INSIGHTS will be a combination of talks by invited international academic and other senior researchers\, shorter presentations by PhD students and postdocs\, extended poster sessions where younger researchers can present their work\, and ample time for informal interaction between participants. \n\nConfirmed speakers include Usha Menon\, Ronny Drapkin\, Charlie Gourley\, Susanna Banerjee\, Olivia Le Saux\, Sampsa Hautaniemi\, Frances Balkwill\, Krister Wennerberg\, Denarda Dangaj\, Anniina Färkkilä\, Hanna Dahlstand\, and Frederik Marmé\, and many more.\n\nSessions will include: Early detection/tumor initiation\, Ethnic and histological diversity\, Biomarkers and precision oncology\, Preclinical modelling\, Immunology and spatial biology\, and Emerging cell types and targets.\n\nThe 1st OC-INSIGHTS is part of our increasing focus on innovation and academic-industry interactions. Also\, we allow industry participants to take part in our extended poster sessions with similarly sized stands among the academic exhibitors. \n\nThe 1st OC-INSIGHTS is a satellite symposium to the 14th CCBIO Annual Symposium.
